TD6 Starting problem

Just been having a poke about to see if anyone has encountered a similar problem, that is difficulty starting especially when hot. Finally got to the bottom of my problem so i thought i would share in the hope of helping someone. starting problem started suddenly whilst visiting someone who lives way out in the hills. the old girl gets quite hot. just stopped for a couple of minutes and then tried to start it. after about 2 minutes of solid cranking it finally burst into life and i put it down to a glitch. started fine whilst cold. then just progressively got worse. had a word with the local indie who reccommended the underside fuel pump. I promptly aquired one from ebay and fitted it and it made Censored all difference. anyway cutting a long one short I heard that it might be excessive leak back from the injectors. simple job of removing all the plastic covers from the engine and the leakback hoses, I plugged in short lengths of plastic pipe to the injectors and gave it a 5 second crank and it was apparent immediately that injectors 1+6 were knackared. promptly ordered from my local indie they then turned up 3 months later. fitting them wasn't too bad and luckily they weren't too bad to get out. put it all back together and gave it a crank. within 2 seconds she fired into smooth life!! just great to have it starting first touch after nearly 4 months of cranking the living daylights out of it!
