I had one and was surprised how impressed I was with it but have now given it to a friend following the recent arrival of a nice big 3D Internet TV |

I use it all the time - stream movies/music/photos from my mac in the office to the big screen using the house wireless. Works a treat but then I am an apple fan...... "On first name terms with my local Dealer......now."

I have Apple TV and use it to AirPlay music to the home cinema system from my iPad. AirPlay is great, I've just got a B&W Zeppelin Air...Wow, what a sound. I send music and Internet radio to it from iPad, iPhone and MacBook Air.

Bellini, you don't need to spend silly money on an expensive HDMI cable. Unlike SCART which uses an analogue signal and where cable quality makes a difference,HDMI transmits digital data (1/0) so there is no difference between a £5 or a £50 cable. TV encodes the digital data to produce the picture etc. |

The Apple TV box has an Optical Out which I connect into my BluRay 2.1 surround sound system so no need to put the TV on at all. Current MY2020
