Thanks for explaining Pawl, very helpful. I am definitely looking at hub centric spacers which is what you're describing so what you're saying does make sense though for previous cars I've fitted 20-2 ...

Mine are the yellow ones in this thread, done with hammerite 2 years and 40k ago, mine got wire wheeled to get to loose stuff off then brake cleaner before painting.

And they still come up lookin ...

Are you in South London/Croydon then?
