Just had my renewal through from Darwin, up from £711 to £952 - up 33%. No changes, apart from me being a year older (75), the car too at 7.5yrs.

The premium on my other car (Qashqai) came down ...

Drives me mad!

I've found that if I make sure that it's centralised (left to right) with an equal gap on each side (approx 4mm) it does tend to stop the creaking.

Try Darwin. I'm in my 2nd year with them, their renewal price last Nov was £711 (up from £402 in 2022) and I couldn't beat it elsewhere.
