	Sounds like you have a different fob to UK spec. To replace the batteries take less than a minute.Plenty of how to videos to show you how they are fitted. Good luck!

	I had the front disc checked with a dial gauge, this showed that the discs were out of true.I have had them replaced and now the brake shudder has been sorted. Many thanks for the input.

	The discs are Eicher and the pads Pagid! On inspection they seemed to be ok with no uneven wear or scoring.
