Its finally stopped raining long enough for me to get under the car and remove the undertray and the issue is I believe resolved:

| Thanks, but mine is a 2020 v6, there are no outstanding campaigns, the oil level sender and wiring are different to your v8, and this maybe why the sequence you suggest doesn't work. |

I'm not adverse to getting my fingers dirty re oil changes,I presume from the responses that these cars tell you when they want an oil change then as opposed to a yearly or mileage based change?
