Sorted it!!
You double tap quickly the two buttons that are either side of the mirror joystick. Press them together once to fold in/out - but double tap them both and it turns on/off the auto close ... |

ah thats a shame. my front's do go off at traffic jams on my merc, but only when im about to crash into someone - so its still a good thing  even in my nissan there was an option to turn them on or ... |
