That looks fantastic! I was considering sinking mine in like you did, but it covered a bit too much of the lower screen.
I managed to source the leather from eBay and it is quite a good match |

Yeah the aux is a pain... I've actually ordered some inline Aux amplifier and a voltage regulator and *eventually* planning on modifying the loom so it's all hidden...
