P.I.S.S.E.D. OFF.

Any boffins out there as i'm just a thick ol taff Laughing
Took the tuner out of the back to get the pins in the plug due to "water ingress",fitted water shedder and a couple of days later after more rain the radio has stopped working no indicator lights on dash or main beam light as well, also no reversing lights no beep when selecting reverse and a funny buzzing sound coming out of the dash and when i had the lights on it was making a sort of whirring noise to accompany the rev counter. It dosn't even go bong to warn me if i have left the key in the ignition etc, and also my rear wiper has stopped working but give credit where credits due that's been playing up for a while.
WHAT THE FECK'S GOING ON?

you know all my life, everytime I have spoke to an IT expert in regards to technology issues always always advise

switch it on and off....

at work, in the house, call up IT support, go to PC world, put it up on a computer forum. they will all tell you switch it on and off and 9 times out of 10 it resolves the issue, hell I even thought of setting up a "specialist IT Support Company"

anytime anyone was to call in id just tell them switch it on and off and charge them a crap load of money Rolling with laughter

SO switch everything off, lights, radio, heater etc disconnect battery, leave it over night (or atleast a few hours) essentially switching it all off, and put it all back on in a few hours lol. see what happens lol.

Also, disconnect battery, wait 10 minutes, reconnect battery Wink

Worth a try.

Check the back of car for water ingress again, check all your connections are clean and dry - use WD40, check fuse 8 at the front (Radio) - whilst battery disconnected..... .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

Check the fuses that are connected with these circuits, there are quite a few, front glove box and in the rear.
Good luck. Previously..
