i did, theres this one with a screen http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_in...r=20110520 or just the video recorder without a screen here http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_in..._id=110355

there are loads on ebay ,all about the same price..

i like the non screen one as you can use it for other things like on a bike/motorcycle or dog maybe, on a kite etc.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but after my hit and run last week I'm going to fit a camera. Probably go with the Blackvue.

Want to put it stuck to the screen, under the interior mirror, and so I need a 12V feed.

Anyone (especially Fox if you're reading this) got any knowledge of whether 12V is available there, and / or any fitting tips? Or photos? Graham

Hi Scarey

Yes, saw that one (I'm an occasional poster on there too Whistle ) - but this put me off a bit:

Was hoping for a simple "use this wire" kind of suggestion... Very Happy Graham

Well go into any car phone install companies and they will hot-wire it from behind the dash and mount it down nearer the dash for £40 ... Thumbs Up ====================================

Pfft, why pay someone, the A pillar trims just unclip, tuck the wire under the headlining at the front, the shape of the headlining means the wiring will stay in place and not drop out, then once at dash level, just remove the dash end cover and either pick up a 12v source there, or continue the wiring under the dash to the centre console. About 1/2 hours work. 2006 Mercedes CLS
