Temp warning 'bing'

It's the bing that warns of engine, suspension etc. problems and bings every journey that the temp is 4C or below. It ruins the relaxed environment for me. Anyone know how to turn it off? MY07 by the way.

Yes only bings once but often bings sometime after you have started off as the temp falls. Would very much like it to go away as I can guess well enough when there is ice around and it's not at 5C which is what it told me a few mins ago. Is there a way in to the control software?

Perhaps this should be in the 'Technical' section. Feel free to move it mods.

Thanks Scarey - at least I know now.

Out of interest, is it any better on the later models i.e. a different bing to the engine, suspension failure bing?
