I'm interested whether the MPG has improved at all or are you enjoying the power and thus offsetting an MPG benefits Wink

I had mine done (no surprises there).

I get 26 mpg and I dont drive like Miss Daisy. The power and torque increase makes it such a brilliant car.

Had some norbert in a 3 Series the other day thinking he could lose me on his way home, think he was surprised that my Xenons didn't disappear from his back window. He pulled over and let me past. Laughing Discovery 4 HSE

Used to do this in S/C I had before the TDV8. Best one was a Focus RS on a long upward slip road on to a motorway. It was daylight and I could see he kept looking in his rear view mirror. His eyes got wider and wider as he failed to drop this near 3 ton RR sitting on his tail Laughing

It was worth it though to seek the look of amazement and disappointment in his young eyes Laughing

I opted for the Superchips Bluefin, JE are many miles away and i got a good deal on the BF.

Have to say, the power does make it a much better car, its now more nimble and feels like the S/C model (ive had one so can compare) whereas before there was hesitation and a sluggish feel from set off.

Only down side is zero mpg benefit, even if i try hard to get some its the same as before. Im probably driving it quicker without realising because its so much easier too.

I think the JE and BF figures are very similar in terms of increases so dont buy to get mpg, i did and was a little dissapointed until i sat back and realised the benefit i have in terms of driving pleasure, it does 24 mpg so compare that to 14 mpg in a S/C and it becomes the FFRR to own, 4.4 TDV8 aside Whistle

So currently 3.6 only? I wonder if they will do one for the 4.4 diesel?

No 4.4 on there but look at what the 3.6 is like after Shocked

Wonder if tyre wear increases as well lol

I know! Imagine what the 4.4 would be like. 0-60 under 7secs?

Maybe someOne will have a go at some point.

The 4.4 Range Rover produced 300bhp as standard and a rather impressive 370bhp after Viezu ecu remapping and tuning development. Tuning of the Range Rover TDV8 also delivers an additional 145bls of torque – enough to pull your house down!

I would have hoped for more torque than that but i guess it shows the maps from the factory are pushing a little more already.

Wonder what happens with a good flowing filter and cat free exhaust though i guess the turbos are the limiting factor then... still plenty powerful though i bet Very Happy

Im going to fit a high flow panel filter to my 3.6 over the holidays, either ITG or BMC and will let you know if it makes any difference. Superchips said it will help but wouldnt make any claims, especially since their map isnt configured for high centane diesel etc, more for all users in all markets.

Im hopeful it will help free it up a bit, i need a new one anyway so the extra £20 is worth a shot. Going to dry it out a little first though to prevent oil doing nasty things Thumbs Up
