Ring the police if he is still their. Years ago a taxi driver drove into the side of me after dropping off a fare, nearly wrote off my car as well. Denied it, then blamed me, turned out he was uninsured. A taxi driver! Cost me thousands as he was uninsured. How bad is it? Range Rover 4.4 V8 Autobiography

Many years ago i was parked in a supermarket car park in brussels. Car pulls alongside with inches to spare and proceeds to try and open his door and get out by smashing his door against me - no luck for him so he pulls forward. I get out and the whole of my door was buckled in, RR Classic - ali door skin. I said something polite to him and his reply was......pooof foreigner etc etc etc and he went off. So i looked at his very nice newish shiney car and positioned the front plastic bumper cap on his front panel with the wheel turned to give a 'slight tension'. Popped her in reverse and backwards i went. Result to him 4 panels 'stoved' in with a black line all the way down and me, slight rubbing of the plastic end cap (22quid for the end cap!). Parked and watched his face when he returned, my comment to him........pooooodf pooooooof you wallonian prat. Door skin replaced in UK by insurance. Sometimes an eye for an eye is better.... |

Though it seems like a waste of police time for a minor collision, you need to report it (ideally at scene of incident) explaining that you have reason to believe he is going to deny his involvement. I think it has to be considered criminal damage and the police would need to investigate it in some degree.
