Drove across to Lille via the ferry and found that driving a FFRR earned me a new level of respect. At Dover, went down the bus lane through immigration and was ushered through. On each crossing, the car was at the front of the boat where the lanes are wider. On French motorways, when overtaking, I didn't get pushed/bullied.

Mate, in continental europe driving a FFRR represents a certain status of the owner not like here where FFRR is driven by everyone, obviously meant with all respect. This is at least my observation after living couple of years in germany |

It must also apply in Canary Wharf cause I never get stopped for inspection. I guess they assume I am a banker (which I am not) |
