Has anyone ordered one yet?

Deep breath.
Ordered one, will be the first one out of Stratstone Aylesbury.
Picking up my new 4.4Tdv8 on 3rd Jan (replacing my 1yr old one with 20k on it).
Will trade this in against the new model when it eventually lands, they think around the end of next year.
Am I mad?

Mad as a Badger, so not mad at all - just persecuted and gassed - although that should make you mad!

But it doesn't matter because you're safe here Very Happy Geoff

That's crazy as the depreciation year after year must scare your accountant something silly unless you class it as a tax write off???

Seriously you got guts but are you able to cancel if the pictures come out and you don't like it's new skinny nature??

I've got a guaranteed trade-in value for my current/next 4.4 TdV8 which I am happy with.
So the big question will be whether I will like the new model, and whether my dog cage will fit in the back with the sloping rear roofline!
It will be my 11th RR (OK, I am boring!) and every time there has been a new model, I have grown to like it even if not struck with it straight away. On the basis that I am ordering "blind" at this stage I can always walk away if it turns out to be a lemon!

I have ordered mine - I am the ninth person to put a deposit down at Barretts in Ashford, Kent.

I like the idea of having a brand new shape so it will still look new after a few years as I don't think there will be many about to start with.

I'm not finding much more information on the web about it and it never features in "upcoming models" in auto express or other magazines.

It will be interesting to see how it looks when the covers cone off, but I am not convinced that the recent pics are the actualmodel - it looks more like a sport than a ffrr. Very Happy 2005 L322 Vogue Gold gone
