Mat, what do you use to dissolve/remove the black spotty deposits (carbon) on the wheels. You know, the ones that stick like the preverbial to a blanket?
Hi pal yes I use 2 different dedicated decon products. Iron x removes metallic fallout, it actually opens the pores of the paint to release ingrained deposits and can be found here

http://www.shinearama.co.uk/product.php?id=CPX-IRONX-1L

The other is a product called tardis, made by autosmart, and that will remove any organic fallout, tar, tree sap, glue etc. Although it's not on the website shinearama do also sell this, if you ring up and ask nicely they will sort you out Thumbs Up Oron x works best on a cold dry wheel, spray it all over it inside and out, you do only need a light covering though just make sure it's even and leave to do it's work. Once the "bleeding" stops if you agitate it with a wet brush as I do it will help lift what's left. Really bad wheels may need further attempts. Once it stops working whatever is left isn't brake dust and will probably require tardis.

Hope that helps pal Range Rover 4.4 V8 Autobiography

Looking sweet mate. Sold my fk a while back, I think the whole of dw could use it and there would still be some left if I got it back that stuff is value for money. And looks great to boot. Do you use 215 also? I use it on my da on the windows, top draw Thumbs Up Range Rover 4.4 V8 Autobiography

Dave that is very cool mate. I love old school cool man it's just not done like that anymore. Have had the pleasure of working on a few classics other than mine, an old alvis and a 1 off Armstrong siddley most recently. It's very gratifying, you should be proud mate Thumbs Up Range Rover 4.4 V8 Autobiography

Cheers Mat!

I'll give the 215 a go on the windows. Thumbs Up

I found that IronX took LOADS off the tailgate too.

I'd had both rear calipers fail (separately) and it's quite common so may be worth a note.

I've got some Gtech C1 that I fancy having a play with but there are a couple of stone chips and scuffs I'd need to get sorted first when the weather is better. Thumbs Up

!

Glm. Yeah absolutely I will do my best to get you sorted pal. Do me a favour, send me a pm with details of the vehicle (age, colour, percieved condition, desired results etc) and your e mail address. I will send you some e mails of what might be of interest workwise and product wise.
