Evening all. Some of you may have seen on the Salisbury Plain event thread that I have a water/mud build up problem in my front side lights and fog lights.

Sidelights can be a PITA if the main wing-nut is corroded to as mine was. I ended up snapping the thing. In hindsight if you cant get it out easily - take the whole HL unit out. It's only 3 bolts and is easy peasy. As you've cacked all up the inside you may as well take it all out and get the jet wash in there.

hi greg, sidelights have 2 large plastic butterfly nuts which unscrew and the units come off, the fogs have surrounds that you prise off using a plastic spatula or similar , then there are 3 screws that hold the light unit in place.. |
