Universal Site login option

It would be nice i sometimes feel to be able to cross sites with the same login details and not have to create a seperate account.

is it possible to have the user database shared or create a seperate detabase that is also referenced at login?

ie you have the main one for each site, but for any user that wants to be able to 'cross' forums, they could be put on a 2nd reference database instead?

I only ask as im sure there are some issues that are universal to all LR products, or for selling stuff to increase exposure(which will help with donations to keep all sites going)

True scarey but then having a 2nd reference database for each site to as a 'universal login' would make it easier to sell parts possibly and cut down some overhead on the forums storage for multiple username's and passwords for people.

Fair enough its not a massive amount of people that would use it but if it makes life easier for little work then its worth a shot Smile

Some sort of cross-linked user list, and/or a revised selling platform are on the list.

In hindsight there should have been a single login for all the sites, however with clashes and duplicates that's not possible to do quickly now.

Well if it makes it easier im happy to help and PM people with the same names on the various forums.

Maybe drop it out into excel the number of logins per site and use a vlookup to compare usernames Smile

Anything to help out Smile
