Serious Misting Up

Since now we have started coming into the cold morning's , over the last couple of days when i have went out to start the car , internally the side windows and windscreen have a helluva lot of misting , and i have always kept the Air-Con on @ Automatic since getting the car .

Never had this misting up with the SC ….. plus it can take a good 5 / 7 mins driving before it's fully clear Rolling Eyes

Confused Confused ====================================

"Open Mike Night " sounded like a lot of fun until i found out i was going to an Autopsy

Might be worth giving the windows a clean with either glass cutting cleaner and isopropyl Alcohol to make sure it's totally clean.

Have you checked the boot for signs of water?

Failing that, could it be anything to do with only having the single level glass- less thermal insulation= more condensation? Though this would again lead back to a source of moisture inside the car.

5-7 mins?? Have you come out and found any cyclists in your grill yet? Thumbs Up Laughing

My honda and maserati used to steam up, the pollen filter housing on both were clogged with damp leaves, Problem solved after clearing them out, might be worth checking something like that? 2006 Mercedes CLS
