Yes you want the ipod audio conectivity kit the early one for the 06 model with the facelift dash land rover will tell you it wont fit but it does well sort of electrically its all plug and play but you need to be creative were everything fits out of site under the dash
As for quality i find it just as good as a cd and. All the steering controlls work onto no6 Range Rover

Everyone needs a hobby

This is true if you feed it with the "headphone out" on your iPod, but use the dock connector and it's excellent.

For a few quid off the bay I got a 12V cig charger with USB out; plus siamese cable with a USB and 3.5mm jack at one end and a dock connector at the other, works very well. Obviously, have to use the phone controls not the steering wheel controls, but it's £4 instead of £400.

Thumbs Up Graham

Hi mate

If you mean my solution:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170719369140

and it goes into the cig lighter and the adjacent Aux In. Select AUX on your audio. The dock connector plugs into your iPod. Installation takes, err, 30 seconds.

If you mean the dedicated device, can't help. I preferred the £3 solution Thumbs Up Graham

I believe you only have the aux in if you have RSE.

I don't have an auxiliary socket either. I wanted to find a cheap/easy way of playing music from my iPad but there isn't that option for me. No longer FF owner but still interested. Present car Jaguar XE

Maybe this is model year specific. I don't have RSE but do have the AUX socket. Graham

+2 Mine is one of the early TDV8s (Sept 06). No RSE but do have the AUX port at the rear of the centre console (it's hidden under a flap). Paul
