Well. half way through the rather "windy" 250 mile M1 trip yesterday, I had a quick look under the bonnet at a services. Couldn't see anything obvious - there was no cover/soundproofing near the intake on the underside of the bonnet, so you can see all the washer fluid pipes etc. Had a quick look on the internet and it seems there may not be one there anyway.

I had this - it was the screen scuttle trim - the bit of black plastic that runs the length of the screen

I drove around for a couple of weeks with a big strip of silver gaffa tape on the screen/scuttle panel edge ...it did the trick until the new bit arrived but looked a bit naff cheers

was the new part the complete plastic scuttle or just the rubber seal between it and the screen ?

I had the same problem with mine but fixed it without any tape.

complete plastic scuttle, so you have to take wipers off to fit cheers bogie |
