i would'nt be happy if mine went that long between services, if it sounds and drives ok i wouldnt let it put me off though. just service it more frequent than what it has been done, i change the oil and filter every 3000 miles and all the filters and brakes once a year along with the gearbox oil and filter. |

depends how you drive it, and the service indicator will tell you when a service is due. Mine used to come on at every 12 to 15k miles and if the miles were not up to this level it would come on annually. So yes your service history looks right for the mileage.

Yep, would have to agree with that. The only real way to slow the wear of the GM box is to change the fluid every year or 20K miles or so. Just had mine rebuilt, and strongly advised to do this if I want it to last more than 100K this time... |

It's quite interesting the difference of opinion from other threads. It was suggested that the GB oil was "Sealed for life" but I think the conclusion to that was sealed until the warranty had run out. A lot folks on here suggest leaving it until it cuases an issue as fresh oil only serves to release any previously "stuck" material and that's what could cause an issue.
