There is a simple fix to prevent this. It's something like wiping the seals with wd40 or fairy liquid, I'm certain it's in the owners manual somewhere. Discovery 4 HSE

this is ggod stuff - Wurth Rubber Care Gel Stick. My pa used to keep a small bottle of clear silicon liquid for just this purpose. Not sure if you can buy it off the shelf these days. |

just remembered what the clear liquid was....glycerine. don't use WD40 or oil based as it gets all over you when you get in or out! |

The winterising prosese is to spray silicone onto the door seals. 2008 MY Supercharged

I use the wife's face moisturiser on the seals, not only does it work , but it takes years off the car ..........
