Automatic Parking sensors

Before scarey shouts at me i used the search button found this

http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic8352.h...ng+sensors

But to no avail for me

Anyhow i have checked the manual looked at all the settings , the problem i am having is when i am about to park up against either a wall or a vehicle they do not activate automatically i have to make sure that i have pressed the button to operate them

Yet on the SC they came on no problem ..

Anyone any idea's …. or am i missing the obvious …. Rolling Eyes ====================================

"Open Mike Night " sounded like a lot of fun until i found out i was going to an Autopsy

Should be automatic, does it say anything in the manual about whether having manually switched them on/off it alters things?

They are working so it sounds like it could be user error! Whistle Discovery 4 HSE

Checked out what i could read through the manual have searched as well , the sensors still do not activate when parking or stopping up against a wall or other vehicle in parking bays , strange thing is tho when reversing out from said parking bay the front sensors activate as to letting me know how near i am to the car at the front or side when swinging out …. Really? I've had 3 RR's and none of them have ever automatically put on the parking sensors (unless reverse has been engaged) - that's what the button is for....

Well if i was driving into a bay to park up with any object in front the sensors would come on automatically on the SC ….

Why have front parking sensors that only work when reverse is selected … Exclamation Exclamation Exclamation Whistle ====================================

anything tips in the manual mick...

just wondering if there's a un-documented button press that actives the fronts all the time or whether the dealer had switched yours on ..

Only the Spurt had those that came on under 5mph as I recall. The reason the FFRR doesn't is because it would drive you batty in a traffic jam ...

hmmm.. i can see some hours sitting in the drive this weekend trying to replicate it!!!

Would be a damn useful feature if i can get it to work. The button is in a really awkward place to hit when trying to negotiate a tight turn in..
