Halo / Angel Eyes on FFRR, Hot or Not

I am toying with the idea to install Halo/Angel Eyes (as daytime running lights) on my S/C. I would like your opinion on this, Hot or Not?? MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

NOT!!

Didnt like it on the D4 HSE i had this year and know i will hate it on the semi skimmed i get tomorrow but DRL's are meant to be for safety these days. I just turn the lights on properly instead all the time and people still drive into me Sad

now i do like them but they have to be done right...

i have been messing around trying different setups with old lights, a ring of single led's is a no no,they look cheap and boy racer. now you can go with larger led's and fewer of them like the 2010 light or full halo rings..

You're right Dave, they have to be "even" otherwise it tends to look cheap. The pic you put on is from one of the websites I am looking at. Problem I can only find them for the semi skimmed and 02-05 models, not for my MY 2006 Sad MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

not much to see really..i have a little box bolted down near the battery wired to the fogs and a feed from the ignition and headlights....

when i start the range the drl's [fogs] come on ..the drl's still stay on with the sidelights but go off automatically when the main dips are switched on... ... - .- -.

I know it's on a RRS, but it is possible to get a 'good looking job' although it sounds like it could be a pain in the arse...

A US company advertise kits for Halo/Angel eyes on ebay see item eBay Item No. 360119941728

Spec on Ebay is for an HSE

I emailed them regarding Vogue fitment and a Miss Parker at AAC Enterprises INC replied and confirmed that "the Kit for your version of the Range Rover Vogue will be the same as the 03-09 Range Rover HSE Halo Kit".

Costs look to be about £150.

Thanks guys, I just ordered a set of rings (LED based) that seem to be the best choice (they are shown in the white RRS photo in this thread). Will keep you posted on progress, pics will be on my gallery when the work is done. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
