Hi all, i have managed to modified the 2006 filp key to work on the pre 2005.
i have been doing this on and of for a while, followed other post but i think i am the first to do it and the best thing it is still auto charge. theres been many post from other sites with conflicting info, its still in test mode as i have not been able to get a blank key blade as yet but i can say it will work,
i can open and close the doors and when i put the fob to the ignition i get the click that tells me the ignition has seen the coded transponder in the fob...

i have been on this for months, i cant believe it the answer was staring right in the face, but say good bye to them ugly bmw keyfobs, saying that theres probably some one here who likes them..any way as i said i have a working unit

daveo, are you going to offer this as a service and do you know if the same mod will work on a 2007 MY TDV8?

No I have the old style key but would like the new flip key, especially the new one for the 2011 with chrome Range Rover wording on it

so is your ignition on the center console, i thought they went to the flip key from 2006 when they changed the interior and started running the jag engine..
i have 3 of the 2010 remotes,they are beautiful but i have not even manage to get them apart, the only thing with them is they are meant to be smart keys and only have the provision to hold a emergence key. V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.
