...no, no, no...what were you thinking?

Your new car... which you are pleased with...and driving fine...

...you take to a 'gearbox specialist' who advises you, your torque converter is Censored - then, after charging you £1000 for fixing what worked fine before-hand has now - possibly got a problem?

I really hope this doesn't develop into a drama for you...

Sorry to hear this.

The rumble strip noise you mentioned was the exact problem I had before my TC was changed.

Does anyone live near Stoke/Stafford area that can Identify suspected torque converter noises and are willing to sit in my car and give me there oppinion on my cars TC, all I need is info so I do not get fobbed off when I try and take it back.

Just a quick update. I spoke to the garage and told them about the noise I was hearing and they told me to run it and take it back after 1000 miles. So 510 miles later all my noises have gone don't know how or why but they have.
So as you can guess I am well chuffed Razz
