sat nav

hello

sat nav unit got internally destroyed by apparent condensation throughout the years, and now left with now sat nav.

went to land rover this morning and they gave me the price of £1400

what should i do as i do not want to pay that much.

scrap yard, eBay any other hints and tips

One option you have is to forget about the factory Sat-nav And buy an aftermarket unit of your choice. Maps will probably be better. That is what I'm doing.
But if you prefer factory unit keep an eye on e-bay etc. Also depends on what year your RR is.

you have a mark 3 [mk] cd sat nav and the normal thing to do when that goes kaput is to replace with a mark 4 dvd based sat nav... ... - .- -.
