It's universally accepted that the L405 will weigh less than the L322, so my vote is semi-skimmed (until they depreciate sufficiently for me to afford one)

I'll replace current 4.4 TDv8 with one in early 2013, if:

i) i don't hate the looks
ii) it's not £80,000+ for a 'standard' one.

We'll see.
