No, nothing about an older person who's spent too long in the sun

Here is the view out of my front passenger window:



No problems with drivers side or other windows with regard to wrinkling and don't know if these are factory or after market tints (would guess after market as the fronts are dark - verging on chance of a ticket!)

Tried the hair drier on it, but didn't soften up or move in any way. There are a few clear patches in the corners and lower edge, but its a wind it down job when turning right at junctions!

New tint or is there a fix? .

take it and the drivers side off joe...totally illegal and not safe ...you'll have the biker fraternity on here having a go at you shortly.. ... - .- -.

i have the same prob ,not as bad as that, check to see if you have the pentagon film on the glass, its like a tint but thicker and if the window gets smashed it holds the glass in place,a bit like laminated would.. my one got damaged by the body shop that done a shi job on my car, they burned the glass with one of those heat lamps V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

Take it off Joe as the adhesive is gone and you wont be able to repair it. Think it looks better without fronts done anyways  Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

drop the glass down a bit and a hair dryer to heat it up work on my last motor

...or, drive past a police car beeping your horn...surprising what you can do at the side of the road..

Sorry for my ignorance here - tinted windows are illegal on the front windows over there or just windows tinted beyond certain limits? - and if the latter, what is te limit?

you must have 70% of light to be able to go through, so whether clear factory windows with tints or tinted factory with additional tints ,that's the figure the police check.. ... - .- -.

Ah, ok. Thanks for that. Over here it is 35%, but I guess the sun doesn't come out as much over there...

Not sure if I could handle that... Brrr. Sun is just starting to get warm over here. Had a beautiful day of 30 on the weekend, but it was a bit humid today, and only 26. All well and good at the moment, but in a couple of months, it will be too bloody hot, and that is when you really need the tinted windows...
