TD 6 Remapped today.

Had the TD6 remapped today.

Very impressed. The guy downloads the paramters from the ECU, sends them off by email to his head office where the programmers tweak the files to the individual car thus making it a bespoke remap. All done mobile and on a wireless internet dongle.

Fisrt impressions.

Car is definately more livelier, Pulls extremely well (I had a remap that gives improved economy and improved torque).
Fuel economy has crept up by 2mpg on the computer on local running around. Will see what a trip to Northampton brings this weekend.

So far, well pleased. He was recomended by a friend and deservedly so. He did a Supercharged RR last week and the guy said he saw a 3mpg improvement almost immediately. Cant speak for him but as I said.
