Went for a test ride in a 2004 4.4 v8 LPG conversion last nite and the differance between it been on petrol and lpg was very noticable seller said this is common, could any of you kind people out there let me know if this is the case or just a bit of sales man ship

Looks like a stunning car. Price is at the top end I would think. But it is in excellent nick by the looks of it. You should look at having it LPG'd for around £1.5-£2k and factor this into your offer price.

Hmm, everything supercharged except just one thing - it doesn't have a supercharger! I was intrigued when it said FULL supercharged conversion, but I guess that didn't include the bits under the bonnet! My system has no differenc in power when on LPG or petrol. Had it serviced a few weeks back and was £80. Changed the filters and retuned the ECU plus some other bits. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

You can tell a difference on my 4.4 V8 between the petrol and lpg, but I would only really say at moderate load.
