Knocking front suspension (AGAIN)

Does any one else suffer with clunky front suspension Question My last RR Sport went back and forth to the dealers with a knock and it got sold with out it being sorted Exclamation now i have this new to me FFRR and it has the same bloody knock, its been to the garage today and all the suspension and links have been checked out and no problem has been found Evil or Very Mad

Is it the same problem as the Sport, as in a hydraulic knock from the fluid ARB Question

If so then i need to re think where i live Rolling Eyes

Your car started "knocking" on me about 3 months ago Envoy .It drove me nuts and I never did find the cause but it made the car feel "old" tbh.Mind you I did have it almost 5 years I suppose. If you have nothing nice to say,say nothing at all.

Cheers for that i think Confused

Since its been to the garage it does seem a little better, you can hardly notice it on the roads but when you go down a rough track it is quite evident.

The garage has said there usual "if it gets worse then we will have to take another look" This is a well respected LR garage and i trust there judgement! but wonder what it is.

Surely i cant be the only owner out there with this clunk?

I have it, only on the left side. Everything is fine and works well. Maybe it is not from the suspension, bushes or any mounting bracket or frame, also no play in the brake components or wheel bearing.
Maybe something rattles somewhere in the left frontwing or behind the footwell trim. XJC, RRV8, Series1 86 and 107% of real pleasure

I can tell you any knock the FFRR would ever have is nothing compared to the one I had in the Discovery 3. It never went away, I just sold it like that!

My knock is still there and is more noticeable on the N/S but it is definetley from the suspension and not a lose component rattling Big Cry

It is as loud as the RRS TDV8 that i had sooooooo much trouble with Sad
