You'll get a warning message in the dash display and the yellow tyre light will flash.

Thanks Alistair...I have mailed the E-bay seller just to make sure that the valves are compatible with the MY11 RR |

I have TPMS on my Evoque 20" wheels and bought a set of winter wheels to put 19" ice and snow tyres on. I wanted to fit the TPMS sensors to the new wheels........... "that will be 220 for 4 sensors, valves and the special washers, Sir!" Then I was told by the supplying dealer that they didn't know which type of sensors they are as LR has two types now - some have to be programmed to the system so they can recognise the serial number of which wheel sensor is in which corner - that's a day trip to the dealership, same when you take them off in the spring and fit your summer wheels. That I believe is the system FFRR's have........... Evoque fortunately has a different system that doesn't need a trip to the dealership, you just need lots of patience as you have to fit one wheel and new sensor, wait 15 minutes, drive car for 15 minutes, let car stand for 15 minutes then fit the next wheel/senosr according to the owner's manual - each wheel has to be done one wheel at a time! 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |

Not sure about MY2011, but on my 2007 they are self recognising - you just drive a few miles and it figures it out. |

Hi Alistair...Have just checked handbook and it would appear that the MY11 is exactly the same as yours and that the car should detect the sensors after a couple of miles. I think I will buy the valves and give it a try. |

TPMS can be disabled if you have access to a Faultmate. |
