Alarm disable

Hi I'm at work at moment but wanted to know how to disable the alarm on my 09 Vogue. I have a ferry crossing tomorrow and the operator states the alarm must be disabled.

Thanks Richard

Is it not just a case of locking the door with the key in the lock rather than the remote? Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

It may well be. I'll give it ago.

Not sure how I will know alarm is off, perhaps slash a tyre and see if the tilt sensor goes off Big Cry

I may be wrong but does not double pressing the close button disable the movement sensors, which may be what they are on about?

I make many ferry crossings with a 2006MY and double pressing the 'locking' button within x seconds disables the perametric(?)-few beers!! movement sensors. Never had the alarm going off due to movement.

bigger problems now......

just got back from work, Mrs W says can hear noise from rear of car. Have just checked rear disc and the pad is down to the metal. Thought at least a pad warning light would have come on. All other pads fine so suspect sticking calliper.

Ferry to catch in 9 1/2 hours......

nice start to hols !!!!!!!
