Switzerland 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Java Black
Can you use Range Rover Sport wheels on the Full Fat?

Picking up my first full fat on Friday (MY2007 Vogue SE) and would like to get a 2nd set of wheels as a winter set out here in Switzerland.

Will Sport wheels fit the Full Fat?

I've seen FFRR's with Stormer 20" alloys but wouldn't like to say for sure. Discovery 4 HSE

I think they will fit, but are wider and if they come with tyres then they will be no good, due to the load rating.

Thanks for the advice; the plan was to have the Sport wheels as the Summer pair and the Full Fat ones for Winter. Given I would have to change the Sport tyres, I might just get a 2nd set of Full Fat wheels.

RRS 19's are 9J with 255/50/19's fitted

FF are 8.5J with 255/55/19's

Stay above 109 load index also the 50's will have a smaller rolling radius

Yes Adam RRS rims appear to be cheaper at times just be carefull of some ebay ones try FFND on here he can get hold of wheels Thumbs Up

You're better off looking on fleabay and getting a set of FFRR wheels, there's loads for sale all the time cos so many people want to bling up to 22" idiot wheels! Discovery 4 HSE

They should fit fine, at least the 20's.

I would love to have them as the Sport uses 275 section and the FF 255.
That means that the Sport's dimensions are also used by Cayennes and others. Which in fact turns out to be easy to find cheap tyres.
For the FF on 20's, only two manufacturers make those tyres with the correct 109Y rating, Pirelli and Continental. And that means lots of €€€€€€€€€€ for each tyre.
On the Sport with 20's you have a lot of choices beacuse most of tyre makers do make those dimensions, meaning less €€€ per tyre.

If memory serves me correctly the contis on the RR Sport are the same dimension as the Cayenne but with different numbers - they have a N0 on the end so they are exclusive to Porsche. Cant remember if there is any variation to the compound or tread pattern - God i am boring to have retained this Rolling Eyes Yawn

Yes you are right about sizes, but be carefull of the load rating values, as RRS tyres are not strong enough. FFRR needs 109Y''s or above. Not sure if that's the same as the Cayennes and others.
