got one at last

Yey1

after 5 months of looking finally got one just how I wanted non window tinted, non chromed, std looking 4.4 v8 Black with Ivory leather!

just a few points which others may have encountered

how good are chips away etc in the mobile bodywork repair world I have a corroded alloy to repair and a couple of minor scratches on body and bumper anyone used them ?

one key remote doesnt work light flashes but no opening etc was gonna get another battery but seen a place on fleabay that does a new body and keycut for about £12 or, should i go to the dealers (safer) and get a new one if its not much more as the spare is a bit shoddy looking anyway

just need to sort out my I phone connectivity now its not hooking up !

On the key front try a new battery then re-sink with the car. Have a search as the process is well documented. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

I look at it this way. Those Ebay sellers ask you to send them your key code, or spare key so they can cut you a new one... Now they have your key and your address, and you have... nothing if your unlucky - just an empty driveway where your FF once stood.... There is a seller there somewhere that doesn't ask for your key, they will send you a blank, which you can have cut else where, then you just slip the circuit board in from your old key and do a re-sync.

As mentioned though, if the LED is coming on, then you may just need to re-sync your old one.

You could try the info in this thread

http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic3713.html?highlight=resync

When my car had the alternator replaced it forgot my main key (probably because i sent the car away with Landrover assist with just the spare), the service manager reprogrammed both keys back in in less than 2 minutes in the car park using the method in this thread
