I hadn't! In fact I only just noticed the way they work when I turn, the immediately obvious part of the system is the extra bulb which illuminates when turning sharply! I love the adaptive lights system! Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining! |

And and they can't speak to one another as the CAN bus protocoll was changed in 06. You'd need a 'translator' between the CAN's. Which, theoretically the IIDTool or EASControl can... I've been through this with Christian and Patrick as I have an early L322 with 06-09 (non-) adaptive xenons as well. Maybe sometime... W88, you actually don't need a new bumper bar if you want save a quid or 2. The only difference is the location of the foglight holes. I'd ordered a new bar which didn't arrive in time so I enlarged the holes in my old bar. I can't remember if to the inside or outside, tho. Quick work with an angle grinder. So I unintentionally saved myself around €100. Just make sure to have good metal primer and paint on hand. RRC 2Dr, RRC 4Dr, P38, and 2 L322s (wife thinks I'm nuts - prob right, too) |

Can the old bumper reinforcement be modified to work with the new bumper? I just have to get the new upper mounting piece for the headlights and the two side mount tabs? |

Yes you can. Foglight holes need to be appropriately enlarged.
