United Kingdom 2014 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Corris Grey

I've had 2 XJR's in the past. Would definitely have another. A fine car for not a lot of cash.

I also looked at an A8, very seriously looked. Nice car but not as nice as the Jag. Dealers are all C*cks and they charge like Rhinos for spares. It'd take a major miracle for me to buy an Audi of any description now.

Mercs, well I had 2 E classes, an E270 and an E500 estate. OK-ish. Bland, boring and bloody expensive to fix/service/run. Wouldn't have another TBH. They're nothing special. Plus the dealers seem to think their farts don't smell. Nearly as bad as Audi dealers.

The Jag all the way. Like the FFRR, it feels special. The other two are a bit boring for me. Paul

Scotland 2017 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

Nice motor, but please, please promise me you won't drive it like the tw@t I saw on the A9 to Dundee yesterday in an A8 4.whatever diesel turbo.

Sat in the outside lane for frigging miles and refused to pull it and let anybody pass, then slowed to 60 for a speed camera even though the speed limit was 70 and STILL refused to pull in.

Eventually, and I'm guessing against their better judgement, a whole load of cars had lost patience and passed him on the inside, and STILL he sat there!

Worraknob!!!!! Censored Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

Out of those three nothing touches the Audi. I've owned mercs and everytime have been let down by shoddy quality. If I was looking at that type of car though, i would also go and take a wild card ride in a 7 series, which IMHO would trump all three. __________________

Did I miss something between D3 and D4 then because it doesn't look anything like a Transit Van...... 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

I've made a start on detailing the Audi. Wheels are off and being powder coated and should be back by Saturday. I have never known paint as hard as what is on this car, even machine polishing makes little impression on the scratches I want removed.

Boot is polished

Bonnet is now polished

This afternoon I decided to check if the air filter was needing renewed and found this

The housing was equally as filthy

That's quite the shine.

I'd love to have a garage big enough to fit the Merc into, I'd never be out of there polishing the car Laughing 2006 Mercedes CLS
