So is anybody tempted? I've been waiting for months to upgrade my 4, but I must confess to being underwhelmed! Probably going to wait and hope there's a '5' coming out next year!

the stock markets were expecting more as well....the only difference i can see between the '4' and the '4s' is a better camera and faster cpu...
the ios5 firmware is pants as i found out when i installed it today..i thought it would be much better... ... - .- -.

Possibly coz my 13 year old daughters is due for an upgrade in 2 weeks , at the moment she has the ip4 and I can see her pleading with SWMBO ,

Can't help thinking maybe Apple have taken their eye off the ball, probably due to Steve Jobs being so ill, not being able to drive things through!

Much as I love Apple products, I do think they need to up their game in terms of product development and roll out. Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!

Yep same here! Underwhelmed sums it up! No doubting its better under the bonnet but at the very least it needed a new "paint job" too

I am going to get one to upgrade my wife's old 3G that I am using.

To be honest, I wasn't expecting a new device. I agree, it would have been nice but if you look at previous releases

Original iPhone -> iPhone 3G -> iPhone 3GS -> iPhone 4

the first three were evolutionary. It was only the iPhone 4 that was revolutionary in terms of spec and style.

Rumours were/are there is another device but that it currently suffers from display issues and overheating. I would rather Apple take the time to fix this rather than release a crap device.

It's not all doom and gloom though. Pocket-lint reported yesterday that pre-registrations for the iPhone 4s doubled those of the iPhone 4. It matched the same number of registrations in 5 hours apparently.

I wasn't surprised - they didn't jump from the 3 to the 4, so a 4S was no shock. I also work in the industry

I like Samsung TV's but their phones are they need to wind their necks in. It's only petulant sulking that their 3GS... Sorry 'Galaxy S2' was such a rip off and Apple spanked their sorry arses for them.
