Charger

For the 2nd time LR Assistance have had to come and start the thing, due to lack of power from the battery, again caused by cleaning the thing.

So 2 options:
leave it dirty
or
Fit 1 of those solar powered chargers

Any one had any experiance of solar powered chargers?
Whats the best 1 to buy and from where?
Do they work through FF tints?
Best place to site them? I was thinkig at the back and using rear 1v socket.

Thanks Chaps

Why should washing the car cause the battery to go flat Confused Question

I have dealings with solar chargers but on a bigger scale, i have however come across small ones but they do need to be in direct sunlight and not behind tints for them to do any good.

Its having the doors open cleaning the inside that does it, as it only does very short trips twice a day mainly.

So having FF tints is no good Big Cry

Don't realy want it on show in the windscreen.

2nd battery option may ne on the cards, or show the Mrs how to use the power pack, if it ever comes.
