Anyone able to confirm if these fit properly, and if so what are the correct tyre sizes ...?

Correct size is 255/60/18 I think
You'll need newer 18" wheels to ensure they fit over the brembos FFRR TD6 HSE

I know of a couple of guys who have added compomotive 18 inch wheels to their RRS's so they can use more aggressive MTR tyres. Look up Flydive from the D3 and RRS forums. Apparently the only thing he had to do is alter the orientation of some weights on the brembo's by 90 degrees to ensure adequate clearance...

The weights were added to TDV8 RRS callipers to reduce break squeal. Don't know if they were ever added to the FFRR?

18" on a 3.6 yes i think so 2009 onwards 18" , but not on the 4.4TDv8 min is the newer 19" Far to many gone...

I would have thought if the TDV8 has Brembos, then it would be 19" minimum? Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!

I will soon be selling an as new professionally refurbished set of 18" with as new Premium Yokohama Geolander Winter Tyres....

Not sure about the fit though.

I pretty sure any 18"s that came on a 2002-2005 FF will not fit over brembos. Could be wrong mind. FFRR TD6 HSE

'We have just completed the process of confirming all the fitments for this new wheel on the many varied Land Rover brake options / vehicles.

We have supplied for all model of Land Rover with this wheel via our Australian importer = www.greenovalexperience.com . I have attached an image of a late model car fitted with our rims.

However if you have the early Range Rover Sport model of car that is fitted with the Brembo branded brake caliper there is a problem with the steel blocks that are bolted onto the brake caliper itself.
These would need to be removed or relocated to allow the fitment of an 18” rim. These steel blocks are simply bolted to the rear of the caliper by a single Allen headed bolt.
Sorry to say that these is no way around this problem and such alterations should only be undertaken by a competent engineer. The blocks are there to stop a vibration squeal that the early cars suffer from when these blocks are not in place. For 2010 year model cars, the brake brand and construction was changed so the fitment of an 18” rim has become less of a problem with the Compomotive rim.

Due to a model change in the Land Rover line up - The 2011 year model 5.0 litre Supercharged Range Rover sport now has even larger Brembo branded brake calipers that does not allow the fitment of anything smaller than a 19” diameter rim. So this means that we do not have a rim available for this exact vehicle.

The rim model is made to take your original Land Rover alloy wheel lug nut and Land Rover centre caps. So it is just a case of just fitting your new tyres, adding these accessories and driving away from the garage with your news rims fitted.

The rim price is £175.00 gbp each – plus tax and transport.

The cost of transport to your door for 4 rims would be £30.00 gbp plus vat.

[Not including any local taxes that may be payable if the sale is outside the eurozone.]

You can use the regular 255 60 x 18 tyre or 265 65 x18

We recommend the following for touring and medium off-road work:
General Grabber AT2 255/60R18
Continental CrossContact AT 255/600R18
Yokohama Geolander AT/S 265/60R18
Cooper ATR 265/60R18
Goodyear Silent Armor 265/60R18
For more serious off-road (but will need light plastic cutting):
BFG AT 265/65R18

For very serious off-road (will need more modification):

Upshot is that their Compomotive PD1880 8X18 rims do fit over Brembo's. Flydive told me that he has just rotated the weights on the back of his brakes by 90 degrees so that there is adequate clearance but the weights remain in place to stop the brake squeal. I don't know if the Brembo's on the FFRR suffered the same problem so the weights may or may not be there.

Don't know if standard landrover wheels have adequate clearance, but as the boys with their RRS TDV8's are fitting these over landrover rims they could get much cheaper I am guessing the answer is not...

If your vehicle has Brembo brakes, I am highly doubtful the 18" will fit - I believe even the original 19" will not fit over Brembos, except perhaps 2010MY onwards 19" wheels which are standard on Vogue derivatives.

It's a 2007 TDV8 with the standard Brembo TDV8 calipers. It has standard FFRR 19's on at the moment, all good so far.

I wanted to get some 18's for winter.... sounds like it might be a non starter? Graham

mine came with 20 inch rims and they have now been downsized to brand new vogue se 19 inch wheels with new pirelli scorpions for the winter.
