I found a thread on another forum that suggests my radio tuner is OK to accept an AUX source and all I need is a cable from BMW Parts. I want to use my iPod Touch in the car as it will save me having to keep burning MP3 CDs.

I have one for my iphone and it works quite well round where i live, on a long trip it can be a pain as when going through an area with a similar frequency it has a tendency to bleed the station on to the music being played on the iphone, quickly changing the frequency sorts it out |
