Land Rover Experience

Thought I would share a few photo's taken during the free half-day LRE I got courtesy of Land Rover's Facebook page.

We had a 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE for the morning and we had huge fun blasting around the roads of the local area as well as the off-road sections. Nothing off-road was very testing, some crazy inclines and cross camber action. As you would guess we went ups and down things that you would say were not possible, but then the course is designed to show of the best abilities of the Land Rover range.

It doesn't look it but the drop down the other side was incredibly steep and slippery!

All told a fantastic day out and a really good demo of what your vehicle is really capable of... Sadly the photo's don't really show how steep some of the inclines actually are.

Which centre were you at? 2010 3.6TDV8 Stornoway Grey/ Black interior - gone
2005 4.4V8 (M62) Bonatti Grey/ Parchment interior - gone
1998 4.6HSE Blue/ Cream interior (can't remember exact colours) - gone
1977 White - gone (should have kept)

2017 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

Booked mine for a Sunday in October, then got a phone call to say that the centre had decided to stop doing them on Sundays and Mondays!

The poor staff then had to phone everybody who has bookings on those days to tell them!

I did suggest a better approach would have been to honour the current bookings but not take any new ones!

Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

Awesome pics.

I'm quite relcutant to take mine serious off roading - (done a few fields, hills and unfinished roads) so thinking of getting an old series for that sort of thing.

Fantastic effort though, good to see one being used for what it was designed for! __________________

i went to eastnor castle and it was fg brilliant. best of all it someone else's rangey, but the car was awesome only wish i could afford a new one.

Same here, exact same motor. 2006 Mercedes CLS
1991 Retro-style Mini
But really finding it hard to fight the urge for a S/C...
