as long as the conversion is well done and been serviced appropriately I would imagine is would make it more sellable, given the cost of fuel FFRR TD6 HSE

as we can see there is an arguement for and against!! i have had problems selling my last 3 LPG vehicles, all with full paperwork and service history. it's only the people that know about them that are keen to buy. dealers just always seem a bit more cagey.

I would suggest having it fitted so it's fully removable. i.e. not having the filler cap in the middle of the rear wing

Not sure your car is terribly collectable anyway, certainly didn't seem to be according to what you got it for!

I go the other way, I was looking for another RR to add to the fleet, I searched absolutely everywhere for a low mileage standard vehicle without gas - I even paid a premium for an unconverted vehicle. If it was doing very high miles then gas is maybe justifiable, but the cost gap between unleaded & gas has closed significantly over the last 10 years |

Its still not far off about 50-60% of the price when you look around and not just look at the normal places |

Exactly, as I said, it will polarise your buyers into those who want it, who will pay a premium, and those who won't touch it with a barge pole! Don't know what you mean about price different though, I buy petrol at 133.9 ppl cheapest, and LPG at 69.9 ppl cheapest, how much greater did the differential used to be? As I said, it takes 12-15k miles for a conversion to pay for itself, is that very high miles? Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining! |

To be honest the seller who I bought the car from didn't know what the car was worth and only advertised is locally prior to eBay. I think the car has got to hold a reasonable good resale value considering it was lowest production range rover manufactured during the current chassis. That's just my tuppence tho.

20miles a day is probably not worth it IMO unless you are 100% certain you'll keep it for 3years +
