had a flat battery after a few days of not using the car so last 2 days ive had in on charge over night so to give it a full charge.. got home from work flat as a pancake

so i will be changing the final stage resistor and the battery tomorrow

do you think that should do the trick as ive had this car 3 weeks and have had this problem and the header tank crack .. im starting to feel like i cant rely on the car and have no confidence in it which is not what i want. i hope this is the end of my problems fingers crossed

Like most vehicles of this age they have been neglected a bit, stick with it and get the niggling items sorted out and I'm sure you will be more than happy with your FFRR
