needing a new rear badge....

Seen some on ebay but im looking for a 35th anniversary one, stealer is saying £80, I have the original badge but as you guys prob know they go all discolored...could they be repainted?

Not sure they can be re painted. I new rear land rover badge (black & silver) is cheap as chips anyway so your best off just getting one of those. What colour is the 35th ani one?? FFRR TD6 HSE

It's like the Supercharged or Autobiography badges but says 35th Anniversary. I doubt you'll find one elsewhere as they were in such short production. £80 does sound about right.

Yeh there were only 35 vehicles made but 30 remain registered in the UK.

I called the dealer and he said they could get one on "special order" which is cash up front but they were still available.

£80 + VAT...crazy! just wondered if repainting them would be just as good?

These are just long narrow stamped Silver badges aren't they?

Would have thought it would be worth getting a tin of Humbrol Modeling Paint (Chrome or Tin colour) and trying that before shelling out £80+ for another badge?
