I have a late 2002(52) mercedes E55 AMG that i took in p/x for my D3 but its not for me (far too fast ) and i am looking for a fullfat (pref Vogue,either LPG or td6)

Details of my car-

5.4L Supercharged V8 remapped to 520bhp and derestricted
63000miles with FSH
Air suspension with adjustable height
Full heated/cooled black leather with full electrics and memory and loads of adjustment
Satnav with speedo display
Keyless entry and go(starter on gearstick)
E63 wheels as well as originals with in car pressure readings
4 zone climate control (icey cold)
Distronic cruise control (appplies brakes if car infront slows!)
Multi function computer
stainless AMG exhaust
Auto gearbox with sport and flappy paddle
6 disc in dash cd changer
phone prep
xenon headlamps
front and rear PDC with led displays
limited slip diff
esp traction control


New discs/pads
New suspension bags
2 keys(1 brand new)
new rear tyres

I have just used this car to do almost 2000 miles around scotland and averaged a very reasonable 24mpg over the 2000 miles. Everyday use i usually get around 21-23 but can get around 27-28 on motorway runs(genuine MPG,not imaginary advert MPG)
£260 tax per year(due this month but will retax for 6 month)
tested till march 7th
3 previous owners (i have only had it since the beginning of august)
HPI clear (can send copy of docs by email to anyone interested)
AA/HPI valuation of £13450

FOR SALE- £12000 ono or PX/swap for Range rover either TD6 or LPG (pref vogue or hi spec HSE and not daft mileage) can do cash either way for right car
Possibly may have option of adding my 2000 Disco V8(lpg) off road spec( value about £4500) into the deal for something really nice

Since then the "V8 KOMPRESSOR" badge on the n/s wing has been replaced.Also it now has my own private plate on which will be transferred when it sells (will go back to 52 reg).Will get some more pics of my D2 tomorrow but you can just make it out in one of the pics

thankyou, it is very nice but after years of landrover ownership the pull is strong . My missus thinks i am mad for wanting to sell it but it just scares the bejesus out of me . There was a time i would have wet myself over this car but nowadays i just s**t myself instead

I have had some quick cars in the past ( scoobies,rs4,m3,cosworths etc) but this thing is in a different league. Whatever speed you are doing it just pins you in the seat and goes! feels like it will never run out of steam . Anything below 100 mph and it will spin the back wheels (way above 100 if its wet!). Also because its supercharged there is no delay,just instant thrust. I am sure if i had bigger b******s i wouldnt consider selling it but i must have lost my nerve somewhere in my early 30s

That's for absolutely nothing, had this cropped up when I was looking for a CLS, I would have bought it.

It's begging for a diesel badge though  2006 Mercedes CLS
1991 Retro-style Mini
But really finding it hard to fight the urge for a S/C...

can always stick a cdi badge on? wont make it any more economical though i am afraid

Forgot to add, for those asking

I get an average of 22-24 mpg(mixed driving) and about 26-28 on a longer motorway run (recent return trip from berwick got 28mpg average at 70(ish )mph average(190 miles)
and the road tax is currently £260 per year (will be taxing tomorow for 6 months)
tested til march next year
