No reason why not. Adobe have a PDF viewer in the Android Market. So assuming the tablet you've bought either has the market on (not all do) or already has a PDF viewer, just copy the pdf's over and you're done.

Seems odd. They open fine on my Linux machine using the standard pdf viewer.

Will put one on my android phone tonight and see. If it doesn't work and is really encrypted then since I have a machine that can actually read it I can soon re-encode it for you if needed.

Do you get any error messages?
Perhaps they have somehow been corrupted during the transfer? What method did you use to transfer them over? Try transferring them back (don't overwrite the originals!) and see if they will open on your laptop again.
I'm using v10.0.2 build 40862 of Adobe PDF on my phone, which has Android v2.3.4

Stan - what you want is google Docs - upload the PDF's there, install google docs onto ur device and browse away Smile

I did that with all the tech info: https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0BwVnQ7k3Z...p;hl=en_GB

Well I can't read the rave pdfs outside of the rave cd either (ie without using the built-in reader) unless someone can provide (via pm of course!) the password on the pdf security? .

Perhaps I have a different version of rave. There is no reader with mine, but then I'm using it on Linux anyway. I'm just navigating into the right folder and opening the pdf files directly. I downloaded it from the web, but to be honest I can't remember where. I must have got the link off here though.

The RAVE I have has its own Acrobat Reader (v4?) with a special plugin to read the encrypted PDFs. They won't work with any other version.
