United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Vogue SE Supercharged Java Black

Looking at the warranty paperwork, I think it's extremely unlikely that this will be covered.

Does topix contain instructions for removing the pipe that runs the length of the V?

I think the pipd part number is LR005187

I'm one lucky bast@rd Thumbs Up

After reading through the extended warranty booklet (again), I spent the night worrying about the bill that I would receive for removing the plenum chamber and supercharger, in order to replace the faulty coolant hose.

I woke early and took the car straight into Cambridge LR, and explained yesterdays events to guys on the service desk.

LR Cambridge called me this afternoon to give me the good news that LR extended warranty have authorised the repair, which involves 4.5 hours of labour and a fair size bill for the parts.

Whats more, my LR extended warranty runs out this Sunday, so had this happened next week I would be footing the bill.

Although a breakdown is a PITA, its always nice when they are covered by a warranty, and its even nicer when it occurs just before the warranty expires.

I am, however as the car is now over 5 years old, I can only get the LR select warranty which would not have covered this issue.

The coolant leak is fixed so I collected my FFRR this evening - I really appreciate a FFRR all the more after driving a Freelander for the last few days.
